Putting 848 Back To Standard.... Termi Ecu Advice

  1. Looks like ive sold my 848. Will know for sure tomorrow but in preperation i need to know how i remove the ecu for the termi's? On my monster it was under the tank, is it similair on a 848?

    Is there a guide anywhere on net?

    If deal goes ahead, ill be removing lots and lots of bling over the weekend so if anyone wants any bits keep watching. Ill post pics and prices if everything goes ahead

  2. ECU is below the battery. Held on with two bolts. When refitting remember the earth fly lead that goes under one of the bolts. For peace of mind, disconnect the earth lead on the battery first.
     
  3. Cheers. So no need to remove tank? I've also got belt covers to swap so bet it needs to come off for that?
     
  4. No, just the left fairing for the ECU. Don' know about belt covers.
     
  5. Look at youtube termignoni mate there is a guy that does a two part video talking about how to do it all.
     
  6. Thanks guys. Sounds easy if it's just side panel. Bet belt covers are a pain though
     
  7. Firstly... Wrong side.... It's over on the clutch side of the bike, secondly, be REALLY careful regarding bending pins on the ECU
     
  8. I thought the battery was on the clutch side? Ie left side/ near side
     
  9. Clutch lever side, yes.

    The actual clutch is on the right.
