i need 7 new (mini) torx fasteners with the rubber well nuts for the upper to lower fairing fixings for my 748. is it a case of o.e to be right, or can you pick up the same fasteners elsewhere? i also need to buy the right torx bit for them. a load of mine were chewed up when the fairing was split down for a repaint and i'm now short of one side. cheers
If you want exactly the same colour, get them from Ducati. I think they're really small, like an M3 or something silly like that. I replaced mine with a set of M4 allen head from Pro-Bolt in black as I have a bit of a black and red thing going on. I think they look much better...
These are the same as the screen bolts and are brass. £4 each from Ducati. I couldn't justify it so I bought zinc plated Allen ones from carbon trader. Nearest thing you can get.
