I have the ecu, loom, clocks etc from an 848 evo corse se. Which is fitted with a QS from Ducati as standard. I want to fit a race shift QS lever, what are my options of fitting one that plugs straight into the loom, without resorting to additional wiring and boxes?
HM QS lever for Ducati. It plugs straight into the loom. All electronics fully integrated into the lever itself. Works brilliantly.
Just be aware that for the HM there are different parts required for a roadshift/race shift. Spareparts' setup is a race shift I believe.
Yes absolutely. Yours is exactly what he's after I only mentioned it because I had toyed with the idea and their website isn't the clearest.
fwiw i hear loads of good things about cordona too but you need to get thee fitted by someone like BSD
That's about half the price of the HM... is it pretty straightforward to fit? I'm very tempted at £200 I'm not averse to splicing a few wires if need be... Cheers, Dom
I could be wrong. But i guess you would at least need the 50 quid loom Not sure if the brain is built in to the lever like the HM of if thats another part u would need.
What about the orig loom that had provision for the orig. road style qs set-up? Couldn't it just plug into that?
