Have any PP people fitted a 200 section tyre, I have a friend who's selling a virtually new, done 47 miles, set of Rosso 4 Corsa's, just thinking ahead a little for the Donington trackday. I've just had a quick measure and it does look a bit tight next to the swing arm. Many thanks If it's a non starter then I'll put them on here for sale.
What you need to find out, is how the different profile is likely to affect the handling. I played around with my track 1200 Multistrada and went back to a 190/55. Andy
The theory would be it would speed up steering a bit, but a bit less stable at speed, but not always the same in practice. It might ruin it, not desperate for a larger tyre for the sake of being a hero, but a pair of effectively new tyres for about £200, I thought it was worth a question. I'll be putting another new set a few weeks after for my jaunt round Scotland, so one cheaper set would be helpful.
