Does anyone have any information regarding quickshifters for a Hypermotard 821 SP? Are they available, which is best, and I would like race shift pattern. Thanks, Pete.
I have a HM quickshifter on my z1ooo. Pre fitting the quickshifter when I was doing my research I had no point of reference - no one I knew had one or had installed one. Hopped onto ebay looking for a Translogic qs as they listed my bike (z1ooo 2014 shape) as a compatible fit. At this point I thought that it was a very exact science - you had to have the right one for your bike.....the lad on ebay in question actually had both a translogic and HM for sale for the ZX10r. He couldn't confirm so I took the punt. Everything fitted except the shift bar but JHS racing had some generic ones that fitted (theyre only a couple of miles away from me) - works fine. I did speak to the bloke at hm and he said the strain guage unit itself is generic and if your bike isn't listed more often than not they can make a loom to fit your engine....so, not nearly as exact as I thought - in fact very generic....
