  2. Isn't this really cheap…? Bump in case ya' missed it….

  3. You have to drill the fairing on 999's and not many want to 'damage' the faring to fit something to protect it. Maybe this is why? I have them on my 02 R1 as they don't affect the original bodywork - I would never fit one to any bike that had to have holes drilled in fairing panels. If this is not the case then they are too dear ;)
An Ebay auction will find there true value but put them up for sale first at your asking price, if they don't sell swap to an auction when you have gained some watchers and let it run.

  4. It's a fair price - I'd pay that if I didn't already have some :)

  5. Thanks gents. I bought them off Ebay originally and paid a lot more at auction than I'm asking. I never got around to fitting them for no other reason than I didn't take my bike on the track in the end. Most people who track have track bodywork (which is usually under £200 a set). Drilling it makes perfect sense and can be done easily and pleasingly. I looked into all this in some depth and these are the right items for the job. No question. I had three sets of bodywork for my 999R - showroom, touring and track. I'd happily have drilled any of the plastic fairings to fit the protection. Carbon is another matter, of course. No matter, they'll go in the end.

  6. Good to hear you think the same about fitting them to standard bodywork. If they don't go on here then try them on Ebay but give them the chance to get more exposure as I said - you'll get more bidders that way.

  7. Can't be dealing with EBay, when the deserving are all on here… Bump
