  10. I watched an interview with him a few years ago and he was seriously strange, with him holding court like a mediaeval king from what I recall was a motel room.

    Talented guy though, and was a huge influence on a huge number of artists, including The Beatles and Prince. Jimi Hendrix used to play in his band too, in his early pre-fame days as a depping/session guitarist on the circuit.
