Hi purchased a 899 a few weeks ago and loving it. However it had a ducati performance race fuel cap on it. Until today when some low life decided they want to nick the twist insert part of the cap as it was parked out side a shop. Am i going to have to buy the whole fuel cap or does anyone know if you can get hold of just the twist insert part. Thanks

Bastards ! It was obviously nicked by someone who has the same fuel cap. There was one listed on eBay not long ago that had the twist part missing. It did sell so it would be nice to find out who bought it as that 'could' be the culprit. Other than that how are you liking the bike ?
Hi Ian I'm really enjoying the bike im just jelling with it at the moment. I'm still building my confidence at the moment but it seems I picked the right bike to do it on. It's looking after me and breaking me in nice and easy.
I had a race cap on a 916 years ago, i managed to lose the cap somehow and found fuel sloshing all over me. Swore id never have one again not unless im racing in the TT!
