Re Setting The Dash After An Oil Change

  1. I have recently bought a 2014 Multistrada 1200 from a KTM dealer. The sale included an oil service and the book was duly stamped. However, the dash was not reset.

For those of you you who do your own maintenance I was wondering if you reset the dash and how do you do it.

    Thanks in advance.

  2. You can do it if you have jpdiag on the 1198. I assume the MS may be the same. But you also need the cables etc to connect to the ecu. Might be simpler for you to just return to dealer and have them do it. Theres no simple quick way via the dash as far as I know..

  3. Just whip it down to nearest dealer with the service book, there is no easy short cut way, unless you have the machine/software.
