Gents Hindsight they say... My rear brake was binding on the HYPER evo (36k miles, 3 winters), problem was corrosion in the rear master cylinder around the steel circlip, this was preventing the piston returning home & thus the pads not retracting enough. The rubber boot is not split or damaged in any way, this could have easily been prevented by cleaning & greasing prior to winter each year. Lesson learned for me.
