  1. Howdo!!!!

Gotta few questions if anyone can shed some light????

Fitting an Alloy rear caliper bracket of a 1000ss to me Superlight (Due to speedo sensor) whilst still maintaining the original looks as much as possible. I've checked parts catalogue and it seems the bracket just goes between the wheel and swingarm - no shims??? How free should the rear wheel rotate??? Torqued it all up and its not as free as the SL underslung version (With metal shims).

    Cheers Pablo

  2. I can't remember there being any shims on my Superlight. Worried now...

  3. Howdo!

The original SL underslung bracket has 2 metal inserts the 1000DS is just an alloy bracket. Fitted a new rear spindle and reckon its fine - off for a spin (See if the bike and knee hold up!) - Fingers crosssed.
