Loving my Enduro but the rear mudguard is pretty terrible. My pillion (the mrs) gets a ton of water and muck spray up her back in wet weather, just on roads! I haven't been able to find an alternative myself (I'm crap at searching though) - anyone else know of one?
Slightly related; on my 2016 S I took the mudguard off to adjust the chain. I accidentally bumped it off the workbench (about 34" above the floor) and it broke into 3 distinct pieces. I looked up the word, "brittle" and an image of the Ducati mudguard appeared in the search result...
Mine complained too... so bought her a rain oversuit and gloves as I couldn't find a fix for the bike. Fitting the top box does seem to stop some of the water, but not all.
I agree with MG1200S that using the top-case alleviates most of the issue but not all. I picked my enduro up & went through two of the worst storm down-pours I've been through in as many years. Got mullard but had a huge grin on my face at the arrival point of Super-sausage-cafe A5.
Does anyone find a fitting for a rear mudguard on the enduro, picking the idea of the scrambler plate holder? I can't imagine the reason why ducati didn't fit it to the enduro when it's fitting on the "normal" multistradas.
I have made my own mudguard prototyp and it works. But I am not satisfied complete. This winter I am going to make a upgrade, to make the looks a bit more sporty, Also looking for carbon mudguard part
Gert, thank you for sharing. That is it and is the first time I see it on an Enduro. I also want one. Will try to get someone who can build one when I get back in December as I am currently far from home. It looks very nice in my opinion congrats.
