Would the rear seat for the Multistrada be different year to year? I want a 16 DVT one in any condition to experiment with but if there all the same I could simply buy one from the bay of fleas.
as far as I know the very early ones are deffo different, the up to 14 ones "might" fit tho they have a different part no, and the 15-17 ones fit alll the DVT models except Enduro and not sure about the 1260
Well I have seen some expensive cover for the rear which gives you more storage, as some of you know I have modified my front seats a few times and indeed am trying another one now, but if I get a rear seat I will strip it down and build up a nice shape, take a mould from it and then a duplicate back from it to create my own “raised” seat system which locks with the original unit. Or that’s the plan, it might change. Will have my previous seat for sale shortly which is higher than original for the long legged of us.
I have a 1260 one you could have. When the bike was quite new and the seat took quite a bit of pressure to lock i must of not locked it down properly and it came off while riding. Shaved 1mm off the seating rubbers of the new one and it locks with little effort and made a couple of tethers out of a cam strap so its now tethered to the front seat...
