1198 Rear Sets Oem V Aftermarket Advantages On Street

  1. As per the title, what advantages would I find with an aftermarket rear set over OEM ?

    Is it mostly grip? ( that's what I'd like )

    But is there more to it?

    Just to clarify, this is for street riding
     
  2. guess it depends on how ya ride and what you are comfortable with... ive not experienced any problems really with standard but i did find with my 748 after i fitted adjustables, i felt a bit racier and happier with my body position . may be mostly in my head...
     
  3. If you just want more grip, get replacement pegs.

    Plus they're a lot cheaper than full rearsets, and they adjust up/down/fore/aft (not many rearsets adjust down).

    I was thinking of getting a pair of these as I find the standard pegs don't offer much grip. Seem like decent value at £45.
