748 Rear Shock Free Play

  1. I think I already know the answer to this question but here it comes anyway. Should there be any sideways movement at all in the rear shock? When holding the compression damping cylinder it is possible to rock the whole shock absorber unit sideways by a few mil each way. Is this a sign that the top and bottom bushes are kaput?

  2. All my Ducatis have done this, swung on the ball joints and I believe it to be perfectly normal.

  4. All rose joins in the world do this :) it's design intent, otherwise they wouldn't work...
