Hi Does anyone know what is required to fit an EAS rear suspension to a multi with a remote shock adjuster. cheers
Why would you? Just get the S-model with the Ohlins....superb.....make it even better with the Mechatronic.
Hi Aircon. What is the mechatronic. I am considering a late 2012 with skyhook suspension.Do you know if the skyhook means that it has EAS. if it has EAS does that mean that the ride height is adjustable to suit the rider. I am 5,9. Cheers for the reply to the previous question ,so there are a load of questions for you to get your teeth into .There are so many different specs to look at I cant seem to work out whats what. Cheers
It can't change the ride height as such, however you can change the rear preloaded on the fly. That has the effect of also lifting and lowering the seat height albeit making it stiffer as its a variable rate spring. Preloaded on the front is by means of a spanner. 5'9" is the same height as me so you should be fine. I ride a 2013 PP which is also skyhook.
Thanks for that. It was very confusing when I started looking at the different spec on the multis. I have made up my mind now and I am getting a late 2012 which apparently was the first of the skyhook models. I should have it by the weekend so weather permitting I'll be able to see if its as good as its cracked up to be. Cheers gary.
1200 = normal suspension 1200 s = skyhook GT = skyhook plus luggage and some other extras Pp = skyhook plus sporty extras I'm 5'10 and ride height is fine, I'm sure u'll be ok. Just gets a little dodgy wen in two up + luggage mode and ur missus isn't sitting on it yet lol.
