Whato chaps anyone know if the shock from a grey swing arm 749 will work okay on a black swing arm 999. I'm assuming they are the same but would be good to know if anyone's tried it before breaking open the piggy bank. Cheers.
FWIW part numbers for the base 999 03 Bip grey swing arm Showa shock are the same as the base 999 06 black swinging arm Showa shock, there are variations in the Ohlins shock Ducati part numbers between the 03 and 06 999S bikes
Someone selling a rear wp shock and have run ohlins on previous bikes and had massive improvements so was thinking along the lines of comfier and slightly better in the bends maybe.
