While further tinkering with my back end today (Ooo Err Mis) I noticed that in neutral, with engine running and off the stand, if you bounce the back end up and down with some vigour that the spring is smooth to compress but on rebound, kind of pauses/jaults mid way ?? I could feel it through my arse, and so got off and did it pressing hard down on rear while looking, and you can see it too ?? Only on rebound, anyone else have this ?? Edit, am on my own now so brother not here to help, but fairly sure it only does this in touring mode, as I've just tried again. ??
Wayne i,ve felt the same as your saying when riding on slightly uneven road feels wierd. Again only in touring. Does not do it in sport.
I just found this Steve...... http://www.ducati.ms/forums/44-multistrada/546802-multistrada-2016-dvt-rear-suspension-problems.html
OK, so I'm not alone at least. I didnt notice it riding, I was boinging up and down at a traffic light just looking if the front and rear rise and fall at the same rate following all the changes I have made, and my brother said he could see it ? Bizarre
Well just bounced holy crap out of the bike & its seems ok. It does return kind of 1 & 2 guick then slows down at end of travel.
This what I am feeling in touring is a definitive knock/jault/pause on the return from pushing down hard ? Like I said, does'nt affect ride and i didnt notice it cause I normally in sport ?? Weird
That MS forum seem to think its software, like I said @bradders, it does not affect ride, and after another day out today, armed with my 19mm and the dash settings, reckon I have it near perfect, 4 1/4 turns front, 14 on rear, so happy with that and really did push today as well, late brake, early gas, tried as hard as I dare, got it the way I want
