999 I have in for service (2003, 5000 dry miles- very little grease in there!) needs a new rocker pin and bearings. I'm thinking of fitting a grease nipple. I've done this to RSVR suspension dogbones in the past. You can't grease in situ as it blow the seals out but it does allow the void to be completely filled with grease, so no space for water Is it main dealer part only or does anyone offer an alternative. I'm sure bearings will be cheaper online, part number is HK1622 Bearings on ebay around £2-3 each Seals NAK R23 16 x 22 x 4 are about £1 each
When I did this job I bought the pivot pin from Ducati (Moto Rapido) and quality replacement bearings from the net. Also used new bolts for a good fit with minimal play
