Hi, I wonder if any of you can recommend a simple mod to the air box on a Monster 1100? I`m not particularly looking for more power just a better sound. I also have a 2003 900ss and on that I took the trumpets out of the air box. Not sure if it has made any performance difference but it has improved the noise loads. It took me all of 10 seconds to do and is easy to put them back. If any of you can suggest anything similar please let me know.
Have you got Termi pipes fitted? I have Termi Ti ones and I think it sounds pretty good, although that's not the primary reason they are on it.
The Termi kit came with a modified air box cap. You can’t get them anymore, but might be worth looking for one and maybe copying it? They had a lot more intake area and as such give a deeper intake noise
