I have my airbox on my kitchen worktop, I've undone the 'torque' ( can't think of correct spelling!) screw holding the injector into the body and disconnected the electrical connector. How do I remove the actual injector, just pull it upwards? I have tentatively tried, but I don't want to break anything! All advice appreciated.
Pretty much John. They're buggas to get out, specially if they've been in since new. A little greas on the o-rings helps when they go back together.
Thanks for your reply Neil, much appreciated. The injector seems to be quite free in the recess, easy to wriggle it about, I have given it a tug, but didn't want to break anything. I shall give it a stronger tug now!
I have just used a broad bladed screwdriver, positioned underneath the injector body, and levered it out. No problem, that's the way to do it!
