Evening, As a hobby I refurbish rare and quirky Ducati parts. This has gone slightly out of control and I love doing it. I have a few specializations: restoring dashboards (SS/851/888 with Veglia Borletti gauges) and refurbishing exhaust systems. Please inquire about what I do to these dashboards to give them a new lease on life. For sale is this refurbished set of open carbon mufflers of Remus Auspuff of Austria. The type is Grand Prix and they have a standard 45mm connection. They sound as awesome as they look, but don’t have an E certificate, nor dB killers. Remus is known for their outstanding quality and personally I believe they’re on par with Termignoni. Their welding is even slightly better finished (my opinion). Process (many hours): deep cleaned, most scratches in the clear coat removed, 2 layers of new glossy clear coat, new glossy white decals and another 2 layers of clear coat to protect them. Stainless front and back plates were polished and the stainless link pipes were sanded. The end pipes where the gasses flow out had 2mm of black deposit and this alone took me about 4 sweet hours to remove and to reveal the stainless steel once again.
