Tonight I went to renew my two registration numbers that are on retention (BL51BUB and GN08 OFF)- it used to cost £25 a year. It only gave me the option of 10 years extension. I Googled it and it has just changed, I found the new fee was supposedly £80 for 10 years. I went through the process and it said 'no fee'. The site still asked for my card payment but never showed a fee throughout the payment process, so I haven't a clue what I paid if anything. Anyone had the same?
ive just put my plate on a bike to get away from paying £25 a year. if i had just waited a bit longer i could of paid £80 for 10 years.
