You know when youre getting old when the highlight of your week...no month, maybe more when you see stuff that claims to do something actually does it and really well.... Had a broken lug on the tank sidepanel on my hypermotard LH side....the lug was underneath - texted my mate and asked the question "know how to glue that together" - reply: "just got a new bit of kit, we'll try it out on that...." So, this is what he bought (not exactly this one but one near as dammit) HOT STAPLER PLASTIC REPAIR KIT by BERGEN TOOLS Thermo Welder Bumper Trim Bond | eBay He sunk 2 staples into it, left it to stand for a minute, grabbed the lug...pulled it and it was solid....then proceeded to laugh like a girl...and then I followed...absolutely amazing...in fact the lug had broken before and looked like a jigsaw puzzle of bits so, about 10 or so staples later round the lug and its totally solid...apparently you then seal up the cracks using cable ties and a soldering iron...which we did.... Highly recommended, so, worth the money. Just thought id put that out there for anyone that might have this scenario....
