I have all i need, except for the clutch tool. Found this guide where the special tool is not used (which admittedly doesn't replace the plates and basket), do i need the tool for the basket replacement part? Thanks.
Yes, fraid so. Don't be tempted to grab a hold of the drum with anything else or try and hold it with the spring posts.....it'll break.
yes you need the clutch tool to hold the basket so you can undo the inner clutch basket nut, you can buy the nylon type on ebay for less than a tenner, but sure someone on the forum local to you must have one you can borrow
