Went out on my 2013 Multi S this afternoon and accelerated well till about 4000 revs and that was it! Wouldn't move beyond. Has been Rexxer tuned so the exhaust valve should be 'excluded" but still this feels exhaust valve sticking is the easiest explanation. Wonder if anyone else has similar problems particularly on a Rexxer tuned bike.
Get a torch and have a look down the exhaust. Check that the exhaust valve is open when ticking over and at high revs. ...
Twas the exhaust valve. A common theme. Should have been bypassed by Rexxer tune but apparently not. Valve cleaned and Rexxer reinstalled and riding a dream again. Ready for Spain next weekend.
