Is this the one they call Batman? All steel sports Rolex doing crazy money right now. I haven't seen one list for yonks! In fact the last one I saw was a Daytona which I bought there and then. Sold it the same day for 700 quid profit. Wish I'd kept it, prices have sky rocketed. Lovely watch btw...
I haven't seen any SS sports in a shop for a long time, I bought a Sea Dweller 3 years ago, its value has risen a huge amount. GLWS
Yeah, you never see a steel sports Rolex in a shop window now. The ususal price rise will be coming and they are definitely strangling supply to the market. I notice the Omega Seamaster has just had a facelift with al almighty price hike too.
Should get a watch thread started, as I'd love to get one but I have no clue what I'm on about. GLWS btw
Guess I better go 'utilise the search function' then. Yeah I've had a gander I can't find bugger all. Maybe I need to look at a Premier glasses range instead.
Ffs... it's not even got a strap and look like someone's tried to stratch off the frame numbers, a bit like Elsie's bikes.
I never get the expensive watch thing probably cause i hate wearing them cheap or posh , seems worth looking into for the investment potential though
Not had a watch on the wrist for over thirty years but can appreciate the design & craftsmanship involved.
Some Rolex dealers won't even let you put your name down for a watch such as the Daytona if you haven't bought from them before. They know what people are upto. Some now are removing the protective film from watches before they'll hand them over so they can't be marketed as 'new', that was unheard of 5 years ago. If you fo fnacy a biy of speculating, pop into the shop and put your name down for the watch you want, then be prepared for a long wait.
I can't find the other watch thread so shall we just bastardise this thread into the new watch thread. Aparently there's a 7 year siting list on the Submariner. I'm looking at Longines and Omega but I don't know what I'm looking at.
