Starts this morning, hosts Aussies vs England is the kick off game with both anticipated to make the final! 1000 BBC2 for those of you lucky enough to be near a screen c'mon England!
Kiwis are an outside chance this time, team is in a bit of disarray with some opting to play for there parents places of birth instead, e.g. Tonga, Samoa etc. Still should be a good tournament.
Scotland have the worst draw. NZ, tonga and some in the same group I think I saw?! Not a chance of a point never mind progressing LOL
Any team can have a great day, and if the other team is having an off day anything can happen, remember the Rugby WC and the All Blacks against France, twice, FFS.
or more accurately the Aussie third team I will watch and enjoy this tournament but there are too many made up teams of Australians with an Irish Grandparent who once had a guinness to make it worth while.
Even the coaches are mainly Aussies. But no different to half the Welsh union team, or half the England cricket team
England get the ball, take tackle, up the middle and kick. Aussies get the ball, offload, make a pitch length of space and use the whole width. Hate to say it: we are getting a real lesson.
The Kangaroos showed us how to dominate in the first half - better second half didn't get me a return on my £2-50p flutter though
And not move to Bristol either ..... http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/41761769 Oh hang on , where is the farmer based again....? Back on topic , be interesting to watch rhe aussies give the lessons In how to play league....
Its fast paced and very physical. Whats not to like?! Didn't catch the second half, work got in the way but caught the pundits saying how England won the territory and possession but not the score. Reckon it was a ploy, so we can smash them in the final
