Just been out on the bike, for the first time. The speedo has stopped working and the temp gauge constantly reads flat lines. The speedo needle goes forward and back on ignition switch on so the unit itself is working. Any ideas anyone?
The speedo is driven by the rear disc and a sensor mounted by it. Check that it is not damaged or out of place, and that the cable from it is connected. The oil temp is taken from the sensor at the bottom of the engine on the rhs below the oil of filler. Make sure it is connected.
