Long story short i bought this from Elite Super Bikes with the intention of dropping it straight into my 749 (as it was advertised as being able to do exactly that) but turns out it wont due to the swing arm bearings and it is wider at the rear full stop. I didn't know they were different so have in effect been led up the garden path. Was then thinking about buying proper 999 crank cases but have been advised swapping the contents over would probably cost 1k to do in labour alone. Have reluctantly decided to cut my losses and just sell it. Attached is the original advert and also a recent picture of it sitting looking sad in my garage. It has done apparently a genuine 4500 miles - true or not it is in exceptional condition. Has a slipper clutch in it and both coil packs. I seem to remember i paid £1200 so if i got that back i'd be a happy man. Is located in South Hertfordshire.

I'd love to but don't have the knowledge. Am willing to try though, would it be hard? Is it just a case of taking it apart and putting it back together the same way?
Thanks Sev I do have someone who can machine off the bearings but have since been told the crankcase is much wider regardless of the bearings being off anyway. According to Final Edition on here aswell - The engine cases are too wide at the back on the s4rs engine, so the 749 arm wont fit. The Monster arm is wider on the inside, where they go either side of the cases. It makes no difference that the bearings are taken out of the cases. You cannot use a monster arm on the 749 frame and s4rs engine as the shock mounting alignment is out.
