Many of the companies offering seat alterations recommended on the forum seem to be mostly up north or miles away from me. By chance, I found a recommendation for Trimania, https://www.trimmania.com/ just up the road from me. Dropped a Scrambler Icon saddle off in the hope they could alter the telegraph pole DNA of the OE foam and reduce the height. Despite having been told the workshop was flat out (I could see they were busy and had no issue with that) I got a phone call 2 days later to say it was ready to collect. 90 mile ride out yesterday with the altered saddle fitted and the feedback was ‘wonderfully comfortable’. Very pleased with their work and easy to deal with. A word of caution though, that very professional job came at a price. Worth every penny IMO given the convenience for me but not cheap. Andy
