  1. Well i thought i was sort of semi intelligent but i,ve been having trouble with my Garmin Zumo 395 LM for some time now. I thought it was faulty or due to the vibration on the multi. Basically i ride off on a main A road & everything hunky. Then on to general B roads. No problem. Then we turn off down country lanes, roads etc & its like i am riding across a field. The roads completely disappear. Yesterday SAT. We set off from Leeds, went to Toby york for brecky. Then down A64 towards scarborough. All that was fine. The we turned off at the Mass research centre & boom, no roads. Nearing Seaways i started playing with the zoom control DOH dickhead. I was zoomed out too far to show small lanes , roads etc. Kept zooming in & hey presto i,m riding down a road. I was ready to junk the unit & buy another. A little knowledge eh.

  2. I get not only the Earth when I zoom out, I get a show of the solar system on my 595.

  3. Within the settings menu there should be a map detail option, set this to high/more to see more 'at altutude'.

Not sure about the 395, it should be similar, but on my 590 it's Settings > Map & Vehicle > Map Detail. I'm then offered three choices; Less, Normal and More.
