Decided to fit a Sat Nav to the 950. Ordered the evotech mount and everything was going well until I dropped the pivot mount which connects the top of the mount to the back of the screen. I was convinced I’d heard it hit the floor so spent about 20 minutes crawling around looking for it. I couldn’t see it inside the bike but decided to strip the fairings off anyway. After two hours of splitting my time between crawling and looking inside I decided to give up and put the bike back together. Typically as I put my hand inside to squeeze the first fairing together before screwing it up I found it, balanced on to of a rad hose in a very strange and dark place. Fortunately everything else went ok. I’ve installed the cameras and GPS receiver and traced the wires. Now I just need the thunder box to arrive tomorrow and I can wire it up.
