Hi all.iv herd there's a power point under the top fairing. My question is. Which side ? Is there a complete plug or do I have to buy the plug ? Are the wires marked up red and black or is there a way of finding live wire? Or is there a simpler way of wireing a tom tom rider up Cheers all Steve.
- Sitting on the bike its on the LHS, need to remove the LHS Black Cover that runs from the tank to the nose, two bolts and slide forward (after removing the keyless cap cover) - It is a wired socket - Yes they are - but maybe further back than the socket - No there isn't Hope that helps

If you decide to cut the mount harness to reduce the length and get ride of the unwanted USB and audio connector, make sure you do a good job insulating the wire you cut from each otherwise the Sat Nav may throw up errors on the screen. You don't need to ask me how I know this
Yep, I cut the wire on my mount right by the big moulded lump where the wires break out. That just happened to leave the lead long enough to reach the connector at the front of the tank, which was handy
