I am finding myself drawn to getting a scooter. Just because I would find it easy. And it could just stay outside as this kind of shite would not deserve a place in my garage. And going on from talking about Frasers of Gloucester this morning, Never owned or likely to an AJS!
Get an e-bike or a proper enduro bike (I have a Cannondale Synapse Carbon 105) for the shorter journeys? Less cost, better for health and generally much smaller footprint financially/physically.
I've got a CUBE electric bike that I hardly ever use. Mothing wrong with it, but I've just become very lazy. Really, I have more than enough shit, of which, nothing is wrong with anything. I will not buy more and just keep buying, as though it is some kind of answer to things. Like I went to the stables cafe by the Sharpness-Gloucester canal earlier. I could and should cycle there. Like I should with the WWT at Slimbridge. Driving a car just gets me into trouble. Like that place on the A38 with the stupid 50 mph limit. Obviously, I am wary there and that means that other cars just sit behind 1" from my bumper. Their view seems to be that if they can get you to speed up and break the speed limit, then you will be the only one who gets done, with all the following cars breaking the speed limit getting away with it. I am not so sure! And I am certainly not going to take the rap for these wankers!
