In addition to the photos posted in the gallery section I will add a summary in the touring section along with my routes, but thought it was worth sharing a few Multi specific observations in here, Managed longest mileage i have ever done in one day 370 miles upto Fort William, in relative comfort, the std multi seat is pretty good, even my mate on his GS was finding it hard towards the end. Ducati Panniers may be small, but they did not leak after 150 miles of heavy rain on way into Fort William Was happy with Puig screen throughout, offered decent wind protection. Being the first long trip on multi I had planned on the safe side for 150 mile fuel stops, however at fill ups Multi was showing 80 - 100 miles left, so giving a possible range of 230-250 miles. These are on hell of a machine, and so glad went with my heart for one instead of a GS
Good luck with the weather Nick and hope it clears up over the next few days. Beware as there can be long gaps between petrol stations in Scotland so be cautious. Keep the posts coming as you have a great trip in front of you.

What is this obsession with the Highlands............turn left at Gretna and explore Dumfries and Galloway and on into Ayrshire, over the ferry at Gourock and ride the Cowal peninsula. Mind I'm a bit biased as this area is my back yard. Pleased you had a good time "Haist ye back"
I have not done the Cowal peninsula, but over the last four or so years, have done most of Dumfreis and Galloway, Selkirk, Moffat, Hawick, Galashields, Kelso etc...over long weekends, we use to stop at a pub in Newcastleton and tour arround different areas, but this year we decided that we have never ventured north to see what delights it may hold.
