Just changed the oil on my Icon, I always change the oil at half the recommended service interval, I didn’t torque the oil drain plug to 42nm as the manual suggests!!!, that simply cannot be correct!, I just tightened it by feel and added a dob of Sicaflex (liquid wire lock) externally once tightened for peace of mind, anyway thought I’d post this warning, the manual is wrong.
It's very obviously wrong, the drain plug only has a 5mm hex which will round out very easily. The first time I did my own oil change I thought it was going to round trying to get the bugger loose. I've replaced the drain plug with a hex head one that I've wire locked. Ditto for the Supersport.
