2500 miles very quickly on 821 stripe -just love it - only just finding out half the things it can do. I'm 6ft 1 and just ordered the touring seat purely for the extra height. Anybody in the same boat or tried anything else? Much appreciated.
I have the opposite problem to you. I went for the 1200s which has an adjustable seat so I could put it at its lowest. Hope your touring seat works.
Glad to see there's another Monster 821 Stripe on the road, . I've had mine for 9 months now with just over 4600 miles on it, and like you, I love it, it's an excellent bike. I'm opposite the problem with the seat height though, I had to lower mine. The touring seat will certainly increase the height for you, and you may want to try handle bar risers too, this may help improve riding position, just a thought.
