stop it from constantly trying to pair with another intercom. I ride alone a lot so have it paired for phone calls but it constantly says ‘intercom failed, try again later ’........every 40-50 seconds!?!? Drives me mad Any ideas?....
Mine seemed to do a factory reset over winter all on it's own. Maybe the battery got so flat for so long... dunno. Recent trip to France to meet up with a group of other Turismo riders and I used the handlebar remote for the first time. I was all different to how I had it set-up previously, the volume button (top-hat switch up and down) was FM radio tuning instead. I was getting a lot of noise when the sat nav gave directions etc. I was all a bit odd. Due to the social aspect of the trip I didn't get around to looking into it too closely until the solo overnight stop on the way home. Disabled a lot of the items in the options menu and all is now as it was. That was after factory reset, re-pairing the sat nav etc. From my previous experience the 'intercom failed, try again later' message is when you use the front button to initiate a connection but there's not a paired headset in range. If you have the remote on your grip are you possibly accidentally making contact with this switch with your gloved hand? I mount my remote inboard of the switch cluster where it's still usable. The thick flange on the heated grips doesn't really leave enough room for the remote and my hands on the MV.
