Service manual

  1. Anyone got or know of a service manual for the Panigale?

  2. Yep its one of those four crappy little red booklets you get given. Two are for you as manuals, only a few pages in one of them English if I remember correctly, the other two are warranty and log book.
Took me ages scanning through the pages to find the right one and the right pages, its not easy to spot nor is it labled as in a chapter so just flick through the two that weren`t banded together on purchase and all will be revealed. FYI the funtions and controls is worth a read, kinda makes you smile at how good and niffty the bike you`ve bought really is and the £`s make sense

  3. Haven't found one yet, but I'll drop you a note if I do

  4. Thanks chaps, Im a bit of an anorak and would love to know the torque settings, fluid levels etc and how to's, not to mention complete overhaul of the flex capacitor. Perhaps its in the red book...

  5. Only manual at present is on line via the dealer system. Not had any indication when a hard copy or DVD version will be available either

  6. To all 1199 owners.
When you were handed keys and other gubbins you will have/should have been given 4 red A6 booklets.
1 are controls etc, 1 are warranty and service record. `But what about the other 2?` Well there are so many languages written in them that they are duplicated to get them all in. So..... find the 2 out of the 4 that have english in them, scan through the books till u find `UK` and its not at the front, and have a read. the log book part isnt obvious like with other vehicals and it looks very unsignificant and I had to ask the blokes at services if it was the right book/page/bit and they said yes, stamped it and off I went.
If you werent given 4 red A6 booklets then get on to your sales person and call him a nob.
The V5 with be posted out to you.

  7. We're talking about the Service manual, the one with the full bike strip down and maintenance routines that dealers (like Nelly above!) have, not the Owner's manual or the Service Record.

  8. I stand corrected

  9. Yup I got the little red book, and its not that. Im wanting schedules, exploded diagrams and pictures of greasy cam bearings...!

  10. There is a parts catalogue which you can download from ducati dealers (eg ducati omaha have it to asist with part nos) on line ordering sites which simply shows all parts of the bike dismantled with part nos. The service manual is another story. Usually these are downloadable from sites a few months after the launch. Nothing yet but soon someone will scan it and put it on www. Or convince the dealer mechanic to make a copy.
For my MV Agusta I paid STG57 and bought the chassis and engine manuals in CD form.
