I lost my password, my avatar, profile pic, biography, settings etc and tapatalk on my phone seems to have stopped working. Anyone else or just me?
Nah that sounds about the same here... Tapatalk need a plugin installing on the forum to work again, I guess it will be back....just in a while.... I hope we get the other stuff like the PM's etc back too.
So WHAT happened? How did all the info get lost/deleted and where is it all ? Is the same thing likely to happen again ?
Hi Nog, I don't really know what to the data in the data base crash but I'd guess what got lost had been corrupted when it happened. I think Rob has moved the full forum to another server that offers automated back-up's so if it does go tits again he can roll back to the previous working version.......I think....being the operative word, but I'm sure Rob will explain!
Hi Nog. Unfortunately I made an error on the server which resulted in a database issue. We lost some pictures/avatars etc but managed to retrieve everything else (all old posts etc). I’ve now moved server, and we now have 3 backups made every single day so in the (unlikely) event that something happens again we can roll back easily to the last stable state. Cheers, Rob.
