Reminds me how shit bikes could be.........How on earth did we think we were cool, it has pedals ffs. Now my AR50/80 was cool!
The SS 50 was the fastest, even over the AR, but it looked hideous, mind you apart from the Fizzy they all did, a mate of mine had one of the Garelli scramblers which was pretty cool.
Credit to them, the exhaust needs re-chroming, but to see one being used at 40 years old is pretty good going. I did think the Fantic Caballero was supposed to be the fastest at the the time, although Puch seemed to be paying the rag to say otherwise, 49mph, oh the speed!
When my ex-brother in law first got on the road, he ignored all the FSIEs and other common mopeddy things........He bought a brand new Malaguti 50cc crosser......... It was bl**dy fast.............when it was working..........because it spent most of its life in bits, during and after the warranty period. AL
