The Sheffield Ski park is to be rebuilt after it burnt it down a few years ago - did you get the new contract El ?
I spent many a fun night in the freestyle park there, I went up to have a look one day whilst out on the bike last year and was really saddened to see the state of it. Hope it makes a triumphant return!
The "developer" also claimed they were going to build the Circuit of Wales. Forgive me if I think this bid has no substance and is a bit of a fantasy.
Nope. Reality. They haven't got a pot to piss in. Fact. And the man that is heading the bid is currently being chased down by Swindon council for taking on a contract and not delivering what he promised in return. This press release has been put out by the developer and not the council. Sheffield council are set to commence due diligence in the new year. They'll find all this out in due course, if they do the job properly.
As luck would have it I do happen to have a meeting with "the powers that be" in the council next Friday
I hope it's not the same "developer" ET. He, the developer, didn't take a wage, but the consultancy firm he hired charged a fortune (guess who owned the consultancy firm). It was obviously a con from the outset, who the hell would build a circuit on the Heads of the Valley, it's nearly always pissing down there
