Had a google and can't find the answer, so thought i'd ask on here. Are the Shoe x-spirit 2 medium and large shell sizes the same with just different size pads inside? I have an arai rx7 and i know they have the same shell size for m/l I found a graphic of an x spirit 2 i want and they only have it in a large and need a medium! Thanks in advance.
ah ok, that's a shame. Yes, I tried one on and loved it, felt quite good probably more comfy than my rx7. Can you change the pads inside to make it smaller? I've seen the skull pads are all the same from s/m/l so i guess it would be cheek pads only meaning the skull area would be too big?
the cheek pads are removeable so i assume you could replace them with thicker / thinner ones to adjust the fit. imo though you would be better off buying the right size to start with, after all it is the most important bit of kit you will get.
If it's too big....it's too big. Get one the right size. The thicker/thinner pad inserts are just to make the right size helmet fit even better.
Yes, I agree. It was a rather stupid question. My brother had a brand new x spirit 2 and I got the 'I need it desperately'. Then I realised i don't need a new helmet and its rather foolish getting the wrong size.
That's a great price! Is that the white and black one? if so, best looking helmet (i think) shoei have done. I will just wait and see if there are any good deals going at the end of summer thanks
BTW...X-Spirit 2 is the best helmet I've had. So good choice (........... if you have a Shoei shaped head ?).
