Show Plates ;)

  1. On all my previous bikes i have had a 5x7 plate. Does anyone else have one of these on their bike?

    Where did you get it from, as i can remember which company i used. It gave the option of a little Ducati logo (new style) in the bottom left corner.

  4. Yeah it would appear, there are a couple of other places but they seem to be a bit dearer A1 showplates & Proplates.
    So whats the score 40/40 ?

  12. Errrr no you can't, read his post he said he wanted 7x5 that website seems to only do 6x6, 6.5x6.5, 7x7 & 9x7.

  16. Pro plates was the place I ordered from previously, thanks Cupid. On its way.

    Can the 848 etc number plate hanger be modified to take a 7x5 plate? Or do I have to get a tail tidy?

  17. Do you know what I have no idea, I have the hanger in the garage and a 7x5 I could go have a look.
    The existing hanger does look bulky and I prefer the smaller tail tidy makes the back end look a lot neater in my opinion.

  18. Just ventured out to the garage (its wet out there)
    yes a 7x5 will fit the existing hanger but it will be very tight the holes would be very close to the edge of the plate, the only problem is the bottom of the hanger will stick out past the bottom of the plate but you could hacksaw that off as its only plastic.

  20. I would think that any Ducati hanger will take a 7x5 plate as that is slightly bigger than a standard legal numberplate size here in France, and they sell Ducatis here.
