I see the bearded mustachiod cooking duo are doing their show around southern Italy. This time they've been given multistradas as their rides. Their political insight is interesting as are shots of the bikes, their cooking however is predicable.
No it's not too long ago. I've been to that museum too. Incidentally they moved the people from the caves into Council apartments in the mid 60's and left the caves empty. However they are now back in fashion and people are buying them for holiday homes and call centres are buying swathes of them up and connecting them with tunnels.
They are the kings of one pot cooking. They do serve up some lovely stuff though. The Multi's were a distraction from the food.
They never go above 40 mph anyway. The bike shots are just a nod to their marketing tag-line. They're cooks and foodies first as far as the shows go but their dishes are at least well explained real-world recipes which people can cook for themselves and their enthusiasm makes you want to try them. Last night the scenery was the star of the show. I want to go to Sardinia now. Corsica next week. Supposed to be even more spectacular.
Sardinia and Sicily are both lovely islands, not been to Corsica yet so next week might wet my appetite. Steve
Just love to do that tour... the Med on a bike. Would love to watch this but can't stand these guys. Last time they were in Italy the cooked a Sicilian dish in Tuscany ...clueless...they need to sack there "home economist" (the real chef)
