Anyone got a pair of the lower side front fairings going spare? I have mounted my LEDs on the upgraded Motech brackets, but I think if I could get a spare pair of fairing lowers I could mount the spots within the fairing, this would make the lights a lot more discreet, until turned on! If no-one has them I can thoroughly recommend them, I had loads of info about them on the Ducatisti site, all lost now, what a bummer. I have HIDs for dip, the link wire that links dip to main, and four LED spots, night riding is awesome now!
Can't help with the panels although I have noticed them come up on Fleabay occasionally (usually needing some 'refurbishment'!). Post some pics of your light setup. I have Vision-X Solstice Solo LED lights (used as the basis for the Denali LED lighting kit;-) from BikeVis, I went for the 'Fogs' for being seen rather than seeing with ;-) which are still mounted on the original SW Motech radiator mounted brackets (hated the look of the replacements)........no problems to date for me but the concern re a possible radiator leak remains in the back of my mind I'll be interested to see what you do.
Hey Andy, I will try and get some pictures of my light set up, but first I will have to wash off about 3" of sawdust, oops, not everyone has a fancy bike condom!! I liked the placement of the old motech brackets, but have moved onto the new brackets as I didnt want a rad problem. The lights are awesome!!
....you're the second person today to refer to it as a bike condom! lol (good investment....only £220ish;-)
I looked the condom up after you posted about it on facebook! They are cheap really for what they do, I may invest for next winter, for now a sponge, some shampoo, and some elbow grease is going to have to happen first!! I am ashamed at the state its in!!!
