749 Side Stand Pivot Bolt Play

I also feel like I have an issue....when I put the bike down it:
- Creaks from that area (very scary when you hear it)
- Leans over a lot

 

it's always worth checking to see if the (10) forged "bracket" fixing bolts are loose when lean is severe as this can occur. Other than this, as long as rear of bike hasn't been raised massively compared to std, then actual pivot fixing could be worn or loose, sometimes a small shimming washer could help here, but could mean new (4)bush and/or (2)pin needed, plus you can't rule out side stand itself being worn or distorted without examining.

 

The steel bracket also dents the aluminium foot making the bike lean more and more over time.

 

You are referring to the bolts (9) for the bracket (10)?
