Over the last winter i have built a street fighter out of a damaged Multistrada 1000DS. I have really enjoyed the build and its got me thinking... i would really like to do another multi 1000 and may have identified a suitable donor bike. This time though i would like to do somthing really stripped back and light and with this in mind I have a few questions... Is there anyway of simplifying the electrics in terms of getting rid of the clocks, imobilliser and just using a basic ECU? Any links to suppliers or suggestions would be appreciated. I would also like to run with pod filters as opposed to the big air box... anyone done this? Can i use the fuel pump off say an ST4 in place of the multistrada one? Lots more questions probably as i develop the idea.
