  7. Aye I didn't get the postman bit just politely clicked like.
They're mental these trailers you attach them to the back of a vehicle and they basically just roll behind.

  13. 800 plus miles round trip to Cornwall from here!
    York is a bit nearer.
We have a van which one bike goes in, along with all our camping gear but my wife loses out and has to go pillion so a trailer would solve the problem

  16. The Mrs is horse mad and she has a horse so we have had a selection of trailers and boxes. Trailers are excellent as weatherproof and plenty big enough to carry loads of kit and to sleep in if necessary. Horse boxes are not so good for bikes in my opinion , they often have side loading ramps which can be tricky to use for space reasons and if they are at all wet can be extremely slippery. I think Jon Bovi released a concept album about trouble with a slippery wet horse box ramp iirc.
The ramps themselves often have a steep step into the box so you end up needing a ramp ramp.
Blimey, I waffled on a bit there, Sorry Chaps.

  17. York and rain go together, a bit like over here in the Lake District!
Looks ideal for what I want.
Now comes the hard part, a Scotsman haggling with a Yorkshireman.......

  18. How's £1,000,000 sound, but you will need an up ramp....
I used a folding ramp but use it for my Van.
